Pink Floyd | nocturnal submission: robot love

(TURN OFF THE LIGHT AND TURN ON THE DARK) (TAKRL 1913)

Side 1: Echoes <25:03>*/ Point Me At The Sky <3:32>**
Side 2: One Of These Days <6:44>*/ Atom Heart Mother <16:52>***/ Astronomy Domine <4:02>**

SQ: Atom Heart Mother is MONO while everything else is indeed STEREO.

Us bootleg with plain cover and paper insert. Early copies with Takrl comic labels (According to Kraska’s book only 20 copies pressed with comic labels – this is unlikely). Some copies had tri-colour inserts and some had generic Takrl back inserts. as usual with Takrl, this album can have all or any of these variations, includes Pete Townshend interview clip. Notes from Takrl: The original back cover was a series of photos of a young lady attempting sexual congress with a cute Japanese robot. It was never used, we’d had a spot of trouble over the Elton John (Takrl 1907) and didn’t want, at that time, to compound it’.

Rarity rating: *(2 colour insert & plain labels) ****(Comic labels and/or tri colour insert and/or back insert). Source: * BBC Paris Cinema London 30.9.71 ** Official studio versions *** KQED Tv Broadcast Fillmore West ca. 29.4.70. Known label variations: Takrl comic labels – Takrl plain labels – TMOQ smokin’ pig.
